We officially launched our X1 Ready Loaded Iris Speculum today. To see the full press release, click here.

The XpandNT ring delivers 6.7mm of near circular, mechanical dilation without pinching the iris margin. Additionally, the smarter design allows for easier rotation and a clearer pathway for instruments. Overall, the device is superior to any pupillary expansion device currently on the market.

The X1 Ready-Loaded Iris Speculum is a single-use, sterile device, packaged with 4 devices per box.  Additionally, Diamatrix offers optional surgical instrumentation to assist with the intra-operative placement of the device.

Pupillary Miosis Complications During FLACS can be resolved with the XpandNT

Check out this video where Dr Donaldson discusses pupillary miosis complications during FLACS.

The XpandNT ring is available as a pre-loaded, single-use device.

XpandNT can help with that.

According the Dr Ralph Chu, of Chu Vision Institute, The XpandNT allows surgeons to perform femtosecond capsulorhexis and lens fragmentation in patients with small pupils preoperatively. This ability to perform femtosecond laser capsulorhexis can be very helpful in patients who have chosen a premium IOL, but have poor pupillary dilation. The XpandNT is incredibly stable when once inserted and can be used during femtosecond laser capsulorhexis and lens fragmentation.

Adding the XpandNT as a potential tool in your pre-operative plan can reduce the stress of both small pupil complications and floppy iris syndrome.
