The Chihara T-Hook for MIGS (Inami|TMH) micro-hooks were developed in collaboration with Dr. Tomoyukio Chihara and his father Dr. Etsui Chihara, both well respected innovators in glaucoma surgery. Reimagining the original Tanito Micro-Hook (TMH) design, this T-Shaped tip design is curved to minimize damage to the posterior tissue of Schlemm’s canal while incising 150 degrees of the left and right fibro-pilonidal bands. The Chihara T-Hooks maintain the proven efficacy of the TMH while refining its ergonomics and functional precision. Available in straight or angled options, these instruments support MIGS specialists seeking consistency and finesse in ab interno procedures.
